Facial Fillers and Injectables
Many visible signs of aging can be traced back to volume loss. As facial tissues thin out, lines become etched around the nose and mouth and cheeks begin to hollow. Dermal fillers can replace lost volume to help smooth wrinkles, plump the lips, and restore a more youthful appearance.
Botox and other toxin products (Dysport, Botox, Jeuveau), can reduce the appearance of wrinkles in the forehead and the sides of the eyes. Injections take just 10 minutes, and do not require any down time.
Fillers, Botox, which do I need?
Injectable fillers may be used to correct a variety of concerns, such as wrinkles, thin lips, acne scars, and to soften the "tear trough" indentation under the eyes. Newer, longer-lasting fillers are being used in the cheek or jawline area to soften lines and lift the jowls. More popular than ever are Lip Filler injections. Many women are seeking more plump, natural looking lips. Dr. Bhattacharya has been named an injection expert among the community for his beautiful Lip Plumping and Face Sculpting Filler injection results. The results last between 3 and 18 months, depending on which product you choose. Some commonly used fillers in our office are Juvederm, Voluma, RHA, and Restylane.

BOTOX® Cosmetic may cause serious side effects that can be life threatening. Get medical help right away if you have any of these problems any time (hours to weeks) after injection of BOTOX® Cosmetic: Problems swallowing, speaking, or breathing, due to weakening of associated muscles, can be severe and result in loss of life. You are at the highest risk if these problems are pre-existing before injection. Swallowing problems may last for several months. Results may vary. In two clinical trials, a majority of patients reported they were “Mostly or Very Satisfied” with their overall treatment results at Day 60. In addition, these patients reported the same responses for the natural-looking result of treatment for their frown and forehead lines. In a 2022 survey, a majority of respondents treated for their crow’s feet lines said they “Completely or Somewhat Agree” that Botox Cosmetic provides natural-looking results.
